Privacy
The short version is the whole version.
This is the privacy policy for MJ’s Studio. It covers the brief form on this site, which is the only place we ask you for anything. It is written to be read, not skipped.
We ask for your name, your email, your phone, your business name if you have one, and what you want built. We use them to reply about your project. Nothing else.
That is the whole policy. Everything below is the same thing, said slowly.
Five things, and we ask for each one for a reason.
Four of them are required, because we cannot write you a real quote without them. One is optional and stays optional.

Your name
Required. So we know who we are writing to.

Your email address
Required. This is where the plan and the fixed price go.

Your phone number
Required. So we can call or text you when that is faster than typing. It is not used for anything else.

Your business name
Optional. It helps us understand who the site is for. Leave it blank and nothing changes.

What you want built
Required. The project type, budget range and timeline you pick, plus whatever you write in the message box. This is the part we actually price.
The form carries one more field, hidden, that is meant to stay empty. It is there to catch automated spam, and it is the only thing on the page you are not supposed to fill in. If you are a person, you will never see it.
One thing. Answering you.
We read your brief, work out what the site actually needs, and reply with a plan, a fixed price and a launch date. That is the entire reason we asked.
If we need something we do not have, a photo, a domain login, a decision about a page, we ask you for it in that reply. We do not go looking for it somewhere else, and we do not fill in the gaps from anywhere but you.
When the project is finished, your brief stays attached to the project so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. It does not travel anywhere.
We do not sell your details. We do not rent them. We do not put you on a list.
- No mailing list.
- The reply to your brief is the only email you get from us unless you write back. There is no newsletter to unsubscribe from, because there is no newsletter.
- No advertising trackers.
- We do not build a profile of you, and nothing on this site is designed to follow you to another one.
- No brokers, ever.
- Your details are not a product. We do not sell them, rent them, trade them, or hand them to anyone who would.
One person.
The person who designs and builds your site is the person who reads your brief. There are no account managers and no handoffs, so there is nobody to pass it along to.
We say elsewhere on this site that we use every modern tool that makes the work better, AI included. That does not change this: your brief is not sold, not published, and not handed to anyone outside the studio. It is not posted as an example of our work either.
For as long as it is useful, and no longer than you want.
While we are talking about the project, and after it is finished, so that if you come back a year later we still know what we quoted and why. That is genuinely the reason, and it is the only one.
If you would rather we did not keep it, say so. You do not have to wait for the project to end, and you do not have to give a reason.
Call or text and ask. That is the whole process.
Say that you want your details deleted. We delete them and tell you when it is done. There is no form to fill in, no account to log into, and no reason you have to give.

If it changes, it changes here first.
Any change happens on this page, in the same plain English, with the date at the top updated. We will not quietly widen what we collect or what we do with it. If we ever start using something new, this page says so before it starts.
